white enamel dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds, blued steel hands, gilt fusee movement jewelled to the fusee and with maintaining power, Earnshaw escapement, spring foot detent, cut bimetallic compensation balance with segmental compensation weights, peripheral timing screws, blued steel helical balance spring, diamond endstone, unusual blued steel spring curb to limit the expansion of the helical spiral, polished inner case, outer case with blue and red enamel bezel and border, the back overlaid with red translucent guilloche enamel, casemaker's initails WM, London marks for 1816, diameter 58mm.
