A good regulation weapon with 32in.(81cm) straight fullered blade (Serial No. 1594) but no maker's name), etched with the Royal Arms, Crowned Eagle, foliate decoration and blank scrolls, cast brass guard incorporating GVR cypher, wire-bound rayskin grip, Eagle's head pommel and sword-knot of gold herringbone train lace with pale blue central stripe, in black leather scabbard with plain brass (originally gilt) mounts, each bearing a decorative foliate band.
