NEW KINGDOM/THIRD INTERMEDIATE PERIOD, CIRCA 1350-850 B.C.
Depicting a short echelon wig bound by a fillet, with indented segments and cascading ribbon terminating in a uraeus wearing a sun disc, mounted, 4¼ x 4 in. (10.8 x 10.1 cm.) max.; another similar fragment with fillet tied with a bow and two cascading ribbons, 3¾ x 3¼ in. (9.5 x 8.3 cm.) max.; and an 'Amarna' lower part of an echelon wig with corkscrew spirals, 3.1/8 x 3 in. (7.9 x 7.6 cm.) max. (3)
