THUNDERBIRD JUNIOR ELECTRIC POWERED CHILD'S CAR

The Thunderbird was named for the God of rain and prosperity worshipped by the South West Native Americans. With European style and American comfort and reliability, it was no wonder that the Thunderbird proved to be so irresistable that in 1955, their first year, they outsold their rival Corvette by 24 to 1!
This delightful period one third scale period T-Bird was manufactured by the PowerCar Company of Mystic, CT. It has a fiberglass body mounted to a rigid steel chassis 'built to last a lifetime'. It is battery powered and appropriately propelled by a genuine Ford starter motor. It features electric sealed beam headlights, electric tail lights and horn and semi-pneumatic white wall tires. With an overall length of only 66 in., it fits easily into any garage! The Thunderbird has a nice patina of child use. As the sales brochure boasts ...a youngster's dream- a Thunderbird of his very own - a car he can drive all by himself to go on' business' or pleasure trips, or run errands for Mom and Dad.
