A Rinpa style chawan [tea-bowl] with inscription reading Kenzan in the kodai, a design of cranes standing in the river, with fitted brocade bag

Lot Essay

This teabowl is decorated in the style associated with Ogata Kenzan (1663-1743) but is probably a studio piece.
