A 3-inch (7.6cm.) diameter miniature terrestrial table globe made up of twelve chromolithographed gores and two polar calottes, the equatorial and prime meridian graduated in degrees, the latter running through Greenland, the ecliptic ungraduated, the continents delicately shaded and outlined in yellow, pink, orange and green and showing no national boundaries, some towns and cities, rivers and mountain ranges, Panama apparently part of Columbia, raised on a simple ebonised baluster turned column and plinth base -- 6¼in. (15.8in.) high
