A 12-inch (30.5cm.) diameter terrestrial table globe made up of twelve chromolithographed gores and two polar calottes, the equatorial graduated in hours in both directions and in degrees, the ecliptic graduated in days of the houses of the Zodiac with sigils, the Greenwich meridian graduated in degrees, the oceans shaded to show five degrees of depth to below 3000 fathoms, with an analemma, ocean currents and steamship routes with ports of arrival and departure and distances in nautical miles, the continents shaded to show heights above sea level to five degrees, with main airline routes, railway lines, towns and cities (some repairs and rubbing with some loss of detail, some redrawing to trade label), with ungraduated meridian half-circle raised on baluster turned fruitwood column and elegant concave triform base with three bun feet -- 18in. (45.7cm.) high
