A Flörsheim pewter-mounted cylindrical tankard
Circa 1765, manganese FFF mark
Painted in manganese, blue, green and yellow with The Annunciation, Mary standing beside a table and the Angel Gabriel on clouds before two arches below a dove within a sunburst, flanked by sprays of roses, forget-me-nots and other flowers (glaze flaking and surface crack to handle, slight haircrack, chips and glaze flaking to rim), the contemporary pewter cover with spiral gadrooning and fluted ball thumbpiece and with pewter footrim
