Two Meissen ornithological plates
Circa 1745 and 1765, blue crossed swords and blue crossed swords and dot marks, the first with Pressnummer 22, the second with 56
The first painted with two tits on a tree and with scattered insects, the second with a magpie and a parakeet among flowering plants, both within Altbrandenstein borders painted with scattered moths and insects within a shaped gilt line rim (the first with restoration to footrim and spraying to the centre of the underside and with some retouching to gilding of rim, the second with slight flaking to enamels)
