The case with stepped top above moulded cornice, glazed side panels to top and bottom sections and spandrel mouldings to the dial door, glazed panel to trunk door, with gilt-brass bezel to the white enamel two piece dial with Roman chapter ring (faint hairline cracks to centre), blued steel hands and sweep seconds, the back-screwed four pillar movement with high quality deadbeat escapement, tapering plates, jewelled to the third in screwed châtons, stamped LENZKIRCH and numbered 747513, with securing screws to a seatboard sliding on grooved blocks to the side of the case, the wood rod pendulum with crutch-piece adjustment, calibrated rating nut and gilt-brass lenticular bob, swinging against a silvered beatscale on the backboard -- 58in. (147.5cm.) high
