The rectangular top with D-shaped ends crossbanded in rosewood, each hinged end enclosing a fitted interior, above a fitted frieze drawer and above a later silk-lined basket, on lyre-shaped end-supports, joined by ring-turned stretchers, on outsplayed legs, brass caps and castors, the castors stamped 'BS&P PATENT', below a crown, the handles probably replaced, one leg with repaired break
