Maker's mark of Garret Eoff, New York, early 19th Century
Of oval bombe form with two scroll handles, raised on conforming pedestal foot, and with upper, middle and lower bands of foliage, engraved on the front with a sailing ship crest; the domed cover chased with a broad band of leaves, shells and foliage and with a finial in the form of a basket of flowers.
