woodcuts, engravings and etchings, some with aquatint or drypoint, printed in colours or in black, 1957-1960, on BFK Rives, justification and the complete set of 23, of which eighteen in colours and five in black, copy number 1/30 (there were also seven copies on Japan numbered in letters), with magins, the full sheets as published, each signed in pencil and numbered 1/50, except the etching by Braque which is numbered 1/60, most with some very pale discolouration in the margins, the etching by Braque with some tiny scattered foxing at the left and right sheet edges, otherwise in very good condition, each plate loose in paper folders, within paper wrappers with title printed in green and an engraving by Jacques Villon on front, within beige cloth-covered box with title printed in green on label on front and spine, the box in very good condition(album)

Lot Essay

'Les Illustrateurs du Poète du Mirroir' contains all the prints from the 'Miroir du Poète' series published by Louis Broder, except the print by Miró, which had been replaced with an engraving by Hans Bellmer.
