Type: 1:112R. 3- to 7-line initial spaces with guide-letter. (Wormholes in first and final quires discreetly filled.) 18th-century red morocco, narrow gilt roll on sides, gilt spine, leather spine label, marbled endleaves, gilt edges (spine faded). Second edition. Abbot of the Austin Canons at Fiesole, Bosso was a Neoplatonist and member of Ficino's Platonic Academy, which reputedly met at the Badia at Fiesole under Bosso's tenure. He enjoyed the patronage of Lorenzo de'Medici, who insisted that Bosso be at Fiesole when Giovanni de'Medici was made cardinal; the present edition is dedicated to Giovanni.
