London: Henry Denham for William Seres, 1580. 2° (280 x 176mm). Title within a fine woodcut border [McKerrow 140]. Large decorative woodcut initials, the first containing the arms of Lord Burghley. (Title mounted, and lacking a small strip of the outer border as usual, without first leaf, blank except for signature, and without final blank.) Sprinkled calf gilt by Mansell, gilt edges. Provenance: Tho: Day (17th-century signature at head of title); Davis Clarke (later 17th-century signature at head of title and at foot of A3r).
