A Nuremburg brass alms dish, 16th century
the centre repoussé decorated with Adam and Eve flanking the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, entwined with the serpent, the border punched with foliate motifs -- 15in. (38cm.) diam.; and another German brass alms dish, the centre raised with an equestrian scene within a border of script and foliate punched ornament -- 20in. (51cm.) diam. (2)
