Plates, some mounted and coloured, some etched, illustrations, one folding panorama and 3 folding maps in pocket at tear of vol. II. (Small tear to fold of one map, light spotting to edges.) Original vellum (vols. I & II) and vellum-backed boards (supplement), t.e.g. (light spotting to vols. I and II), all three volumes contained within a single slipcase. A FINE COPY OF THE LIMITED EDITION, NUMBER 22 OF 300 COPIES, SIGNED BY EACH MEMBER OF THE SHORE PARTY. Loosely inserted in vol.I is an undated autograph note on Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition headed paper from Shackleton 'To Mrs Tripp A bit of Mount Hope Lat. 83.30 S. Sorry I have not a bit of "Geraldine Cove" E.H.Shackleton.' (3)
