Provenance
Almost certainly supplied to Sir John Cust, 3rd Bt., Speaker of the House of Commons (d. 1770) for Belton House, Lincolnshire.
Thence by descent at Belton to The Lord Brownlow until sold by him and The Trustees of the Brownlow Chattels Settlements, Christie's house sale, 2 May 1984, lot 282.
