A GEORGE II PINE FITTED WALL CABINET
The foliate and acanthus-carved cavetto cornice above an arched curved-backed display area with a cream-painted panelled apse and three shaped shelves, in a foliate and stepped border, the top of the arch with berried foliage, the spandrels with carved foliate still-lifes, above a pair of moulded panelled doors with egg-and-dart borders, flanked by pilasters with hung flowers, the whole in an egg-and-dart frame, on a stepped plinth, previously in two parts, lacking the central carving above the arch, the cornice possibly late 17th Century, previously decorated, some replacements
