The circular glazed and enamelled dial with Roman and Arabic chapters within a beaded frame and rectangular case with stiff-leaf band to the top and surmounted by a gallery with gadrooned finials centred by a serpent-cast handle above a tassle and spirally-twisted scrolling supports, the sides with pierced ormolu trellis-patterned rectangular panels, above a beaded band and on gadrooned toupie feet, with winder and pendulum, pendulum broken, restorations to the simulated tortoiseshell
