The rectangular part-padded back and seat covered in close-nailed blue velvet with embroidered band, the toprail with pierced foliate carving centred by a medallion of a muse and surmounted by two lion's heads, above the reeded legs joined by a waved H-shaped stretcher and terminating in paw feet, the underside with fragmentary label printed '16'
