A Fine And Rare Cased Pair Of 32-Bore Riviere Patent Percussion Coach Pistols

With signed browned twist octagonal sighted barrels, case-hardened patent breeches each with platinum line and pierced platinum plug, enclosed actions with finely engraved case-hardened top-straps inscribed respectively 'Riviere's Patent, 280' and 'Riviere's Patent, 281', figured walnut half-stocks, chequered butts, finely engraved iron mounts comprising blued spur trigger-guards and fore-end caps, and case-hardened trigger-plates each with pineapple finial, stirrup ramrods, and nearly all their original finish: in original lined and fitted mahogany case with accessories including three-way flask, the lid with trade label and brass escutcheon, London proof marks
