The yari, Mei: Mino no kami Fujiwara Choson Toshinori (Jukaku) and dated Kansei juichi nen hitsuji Shogatsu bi, (1799)
The thick lozenge shaped blade forged with masame, tempered edge suguha of nioi, tang ubu, 13.7cm., encased in a black lacquer cover, a long wood shaft immediately beneath the pole is wrapped in red lacquer rattan
The blade 13.7cm., overall 245cm.
