probably English, mid-19th century, struck with post-1864 French import marks for 750 ct. gold
Cylindrical bloodstone étui with flat top and base, independent cover, decorated all over with a stamped and pierced gold cagework decorated with Rocaille, foliate c-scrolls, floral festoons, shellwork, swans, trophies, an urn and the bust of a girl
