Tapering flattened rectangular bloodstone case with wavy domed top and base, stamped and pierced gold cagework mounts decorated with reeded scrolls, foliage and shellwork, hinge at the short end, diamond-set pushpiece, scrolling gold hook at top, the inside fitted with steel scissors with gold handles, two-leaved tablets, a gold folding knife with silver blade, a gold ear-spoon with pointed steel handle, steel tweezers with nail file handle, silver-topped reeded gold pencil holder with pencil-sharpener blade
