A Derby footed teabowl and saucer
possibly painted by Joseph Bancroft, the interior of the teabowl painted with butterflies and insects within a gilt roundel below powder-blue-ground border below gadroon-moulded gilt rim on three claw and ball feet, the saucer with similar ornament, the teabowl with gilt painted mark, the saucer with iron-red mark, Robt. Bloor & Co., circa 1815 (light rubbing to gilding and scratches to ground)
