A Sèvres egg cup (coquetier sans pied)
painted with a figure in a field before a house, within shaped octagonal gilt and purple line panel, the reverse with a woman sitting under a tree holding a basket, between purple bands painted in blue and gilt with stylised foliage and scrolls, beneath gilt dentil rim, blue interlaced L mark and date letter hh for 1785, painter's mark for Vielliard, incised marks (some light rubbing to gilding) -- 4.5cm. high
