Circa 1775, incised P
Modelled as a young man and companion, standing and seated before sheaves of corn, decorated in a pale-palette, he in iron-red flowered jacket and purple striped breeches, she in iron-red striped and flowered bodice and pink skirt, bread and cheese and a knife on a plate at their feet, on a scroll-moulded shaped oval base
