A finely engineered mid-19th Century single cylinder four pillar stationary engine,
with brass-bound mahogany lagged brass cylinder 1in. bore x 1½in. stroke, cylinder head lubricator, draincocks, inlet and exhaust pipes, rear frame incorporated slipper type crosshead guides, marine type big end and balanced disc flywheel, the main bearings with shaped oil pots, cast bed and wood plinth, finished in lacquer --9½in.
