A porcelain covered ice cup from the Saint Vladimir Order Service
by the Gardner Factory, St. Petersburg, circa 1785
Tapering cylindrical, on spreading partly gilded foot, the body painted with the ribbon and cross of the service, the handle imitating a leafed branch, the domed cover with the ribbon of the Order over a partially gilt striped ground, with a moulded bud finial, marked under base
41/8in. ( 10.5cm.) high
