A Wedgwood creamware globular teapot and cover Circa 1770
Painted in the workshop of David Rhodes, with foliage-moulded spout, loop handle and pierced ball finial, the body boldly painted in iron-red, puce, blue and green with loose bouquets and flower-sprays beneath an iron-red loop border (slight chip to spout, minor damage to inner flange of teapot, minute rim chips to cover)
