A Meissen goldchinesen teabowl and a saucer
Circa 1725, entwined lustre CS monogram to saucer, Dreher's to both pieces
Gilt at Augsburg by Abraham Seuter with Orientals preparing tea, holding a parasol and carrying a tray, on terraces among fences and exotic trees with birds in flight, on interlocking scroll supports, the interior of the teabowl with a bird perched on a branch, the rims with gilt bands and scrolls (very slight wear to gilding) (2)
