A tutu, the boned bodice of ivory cotton brocaded with gold lamé, trimmed with a tulle ruff and heavily applied with ornate gold braiding, the skirt of alternate layers of white and citrus yellow stiffened tulle with scalloped edges, similarly trimmed with a band of ornate gold braiding, with two matching detached sleeves of white tulle trimmed with gold braiding, the tutu with Marjorie Rogers, Costumier London printed label, [erroneously] inscribed inside in blue ballpoint pen on the waistband S.Beauty; accompanied by two watercolour and pencil costume sketches by Desmond Heeley, one corresponding, showing a pencil detail of the sleeve additionally labelled in pencil Raymonda, the other for Paquita, signed and dated '78 and additional sketches of details, both -- 14x11in.
