A pair of pink satin ballet shoes by Freed, London, the soles stamped with manufacturer's details and size 4, both soles inscribed in an unidentified hand in blue or red ballpoint pen Fonteyn [the red inscription indistinct], one sole additionally inscribed in black RAY to denote the ballet Raymonda and SQ, T7, the other sole inscribed in blue 4, L and G. (well worn); with a black and white still of Fonteyn on stage as Raymonda -- 8½x6½in. (21.6x16.5cm.) (2)
