An ivory lotus leaf dish
19th Century
carved in the form of a lotus pod with trailing stalk and attached flowers and barley, with a crab, lobster, frog, snail and dragonfly seated to the interior, on a carved wood stand -- 5¾in. (14.6cm.) wide, (minute chips).
