Lot Essay

Ibn Jazlah was a Christian convert to Islam, secretary to the Qadi of Baghdad. He lived in the al-Karkh district where he attended his friends and neighbours without payment. This work, dedicated to the Caliph al-Muktadi, is an alphabetical list of plants and drugs.
