Ottoman Turkey, circa 1630
With sloping rim in short foot, the white interior painted in bole-red, pale blue and turquoise green with a central human figure seated on a stylised rug holding a wine bottle in one hand and a glass in the other, a drum visible in the background, flanked by floral sprays, in a stylised wave and scroll border, the exterior with simple alternating flowerheads, rim chips, otherwise intact
