African and Egyptian views and portraits

The album begins with a few interesting individual and group portraits, possibly from Madagascar, then moves on to Egypt. Subjects include the Suez canal, pyramids, river scenes, street scenes, water-carriers, village and market scenes and mosques. Many of the photographs were taken in Cairo.
