2 albums, the first with 50 albumen prints, the second with 86 albumen and gelatin silver prints. Circa 1880s-1900s. The first with prints approximately 8 x 10½ in. (20.3 x 26.7 cm.) or the reverse, each hand-tinted, the majority titled and/or numbered in the negatives, green half leather. The second with prints of varying sizes from 4¾ x 3 5/8 in. (12.1 x 9.2 cm.) to 8 5/8 x 11 in. (22 x 28 cm.) or the reverse, some hand-tinted, many titled and/or numbered in the negatives, a few with handwritten titles in pencil on the mounts, brown half leather.

e first including singing girls, tea-house girls and women playing
instruments as well as views of lakes, temples, rivers, Miyajima park, the Imaichi road to Nikko and many other views in Tokyo, Yokohama and
Kyoto. The second is a mixed travel album, including approximately
15 views of Japan; 14 photographs of Burma including pagodas, portraits and general views; a few views and portraits in Singapore and Indonesia which include Malay villages, Orchard Park, Dyak portraits and Javanese dancing girls; a few photographs of China, some of which show torture scenes, punishments or decapitations; and 12 photographs in Hawaii, a few with Davey Photo. Co., H.I. credit in the negative, the majority of which are portraits.
