A detailed and fully rigged display model of the steam auxiliary schooner yacht Atlantic of circa 1905
with masts, booms, rigging and full suit of stitched linen sails, anchor and davit, winch, ventilators, companionways, belaying rail and pins, engine room lights, funnel, deck lights, cleats, bollards, deck house, horses, helm and binnacle, four ship's boats with thwarts in davits and other details. The hull, finished in green and black with 'gold' boot top, is fitted with three-blade propeller and mounted on two turned brass columns, inlaid display base and mahogany-framed glazed case. Measurements overall -- 38 x 52in. (96.5 x 132cm.)
