An early 20th Century builder's half block model of the S.S. Fidra by Alex Stephens & Sons, Glasgow
with cut-away masts and funnel, ink outlined deck housing and deck lights. The hull with rudder, gilt stern paintwork with banner reading Leith and stencilled amidships S.S. "FIDRA" No.254 is finished in black and varnish and mounted on backing board with inlaid builder's plaque -- 12¼ x 69¼in. (31 x 176cm.)
