A finely detailed Gauge 1 two-rail electric model of the German DR 080+080 (D+D) Mallet Banking Tank Locomotive Baureihe 96 No. 96022 by Maffei No. 5342 of 1923
built by Aster for Fulgurex, stamped E049.1989, with articulated front chassis, all axles sprung, two sets of cylinders per chassis with hinged coupling rods. Details include pumps, lubricators, pipework, cab backhead, steps, handrails, rivet work, sprung buffers and operating front and rear lamps, finished in DR matt black and red -- 22in. (56cm.) in original repaired box
