A fine and detailed Gauge 1 spirit-fired steam model of the German DB 4-6-4 (2C2) 'Baureihe' Tank Locomotive No. 62002 kit
by Aster for Fulgurex, stamped BR62 003/200 on plate inside cab, and fitted with three-wick spirit lamp, internally-fired boiler, twin safety valves, sight glass, pressure gauge, blower, regulator and screw reverse. Chassis with twin double-acting cylinders, leaf-sprung driving axles and hinged coupling rods, brake and running gear. Details include pump, pipework, handrails, steps, sprung buffers, rivet work and battery-operated front and rear lamps with switch and six caged inspection lamps for chassis and motion maintenance, finished in DB matt black and red -- 21¼in. (54cm.), in original kit box
