The porcelain circa 1725, the decoration slightly later and from the workshop of Sabine and Johann Aufenwerth
Painted in iron-red monochrome, the cup with two landscape vignettes of trees and rockery, the reserved within quatrefoil gilt cartouches further enriched with iron-red tassels, the footrim with iron-red scallops enclosing dots, the interior with a landscape vignette of trees, beneath stylized birds, the gilt rim etched in dots; the saucer painted with a classical figure in a similar landscsape holding a gilt ball and standing to the left of the tree, a gilt-chased ruin in the far left corner reserved within an irregular hexafoil cartouche issuing further lozenges and iron-red strapwork birds and tassels beneath the rim gilt with a similar band and beads (2)
