A Silesian-engraved goblet and a cover
Circa 1740
(Deckelpokal) the generous trumpet bowl engraved with a large sunburst above figures allegorical for Peace and Earth, upon a foliate vignette, the reverse inscribed: Gott gebe fried im ganssen land (God give peace to the whole country), with elaborate strapwork, the lower part cut with arches, upon a facetted balustroid stem, the conical foot decorated en suite, the domed cover en suite with facetted spiral finial
