Circa 1725, marked with underglaze blue crossed swords and gilder's mark K, Pressmarke 25
The squat bombé ogival shaped body gilt and painted in colours in the manner of Johann Gregorius Höroldt, the cartouches depicting Orientals at various pursuits surrounded by Goldspitzenbordüre enhanced with a purple fond, further with Eisenrot scrollwork, the sides with sprays of Indianische Blumen, the domed cover en suite with gilt ball finial (a minute chip and a repaired minute chip to the edge of the box)
