A pearlware shaped rectangular teacaddy
probably Portobello, moulded and painted in iron-red, blue and black with a quarter-length portrait of George III, in profile to the left, between scrolling flowers and foliage, a similar portrait to the reverse, between fluted sections painted with loose sprays of flowers, below a brown line rim, early 19th century (neck restored, horizontal crack through one of the portrait panels) -- 16cm. high
