A George II silver tea-kettle, stand and lamp

The spherical tea kettle with wicker covered swing handle, the hinged cover with ivory finial, the body chased and engraved with a band of scrolls, shells, flowers and diaperwork, and engraved with a coat-of-arms and crest each within plume mantling, the stand on three scroll feet, with shaped rim, the apron cast and pierced with a frieze of acanthus, foliage and grotesque masks, the detachable hemispherical burner with moulded mid-rib, engraved with a crest, with detachable cover, marked on base of kettle and base of warmer, the kettle also marked with scratchweight '38=15', the warmer marked '20=15'
