A group of sea creatures comprising an octopus and a large number of different fish carved as a compact group, the eyes inlaid in pale and dark horn, several himotoshi formed by gaps between the fish, signed in unstained incised characters Kaigyokusai Masatsugu (Osaka, 1813-92); one fish tail with slight old damage
