Kensington School, Kensington High Street was a charity school also known as the National School designed by Nicholas Hawksmoor and built in 1711-12 and demolished 1878 to make way for the Kensington Town Hall. In 1804 a new girls' school was established. Two stone statues of a boy and a girl made by the mason Thomas Eustace were preserved on the North elevation of the school, now known as St Mary Abbotts School.
